On their important 23rd April event, DJI has introduced a number of advanced accessories for their drones, which are hugely popular in the market. Apart from their release of the DJI Ronin 2, they have also launched the DJI Cendence, Tracktenna and Crystalsky.
DJI Cendence remote control
DJI Cendence is the newest professional remote made for prosumer drones like Inspire 2 and Matrice 200. With an ergonomic design and a number of switches and buttons to control the drone, this controller is also compatible with the DJI Crystal Sky monitor.
Using the Cendence, users have the option of easily creating and storing customized button operations for flight and shoot modes. The two dials help with adjusting the pitch and yaw of the gimbal, while users also have options to change settings such as ISO, sharpness, shutter speed and focus.
The remote control is equipped with built-in SDI and HDMI video transmission ports that allow live HD streaming capabilities, and can also be modified to work with DJI’s Lightbridge or Wi-Fi video transmission.
The DJI Cendence remote control can be purchased later this year at $999.
The DJI Tracktenna works to better signal reliability when the drone is flying far and reduces external interference in the signal. This high-gain antenna features built-in sensors, as well as a 2-axis gimbal that makes sure that the antenna is directly pointing at the drone all the time automatically for reliable communication.
This powerful device has the ability to increase signal transmission by up to 6.2 miles or 10 km, along with transmission speeds of up to 10 Mbps for data-intensive apps that are within 1.24 miles or 2 km of the device. It is capable of supporting 2.4 GHz as well as 5.8 GHz frequency, providing amazing and unparalleled signal range and stability.
The cost and release date for the DJI Tracktenna has not been released as yet.
DJI CrystalSky Monitors
The CrystalSky range of monitors comes with the purpose of making the use of display screens with drones a much simple process. Unlike the smartphone and tablet screens that are usually used to see what the drone’s camera is recording or to check and change setting, the CrystalSky Monitors the display screen is much brighter and more reliable.
Aimed towards professional pilots, photographers and videographers who require clearer visual information, the screen now provides a display of up to 2000 cd/m2 that is actually 4 times brighter than an average screen, and can provide better visibility even when outdoors in the bright sunlight. So no more squinting to figure out what’s happening on the screen!
It comes equipped with 2 microSD card slots that provide storage for all the media recorded. It also has the ability to work with enhanced versions of the DJI GO, DJI GO 4 and DJI Pilot apps.
The CrystalSky Monitors can be purchased in 3 versions –
